Meet the Co-Owners Behind The ISL Franchises

Sachin Tendulkar-Kerala Blasters:

Being a big promoter of sport in India, Sachin co-owns the Kerala team. Kerala is known for its football culture and his very presence in the team makes it the favorite team. If God’s own country was to have an ISL team then it’s certain that God owns it. Likewise, Sachin and Prasad V Potluri successfully won the bid for Kerala franchise.

It is once again proved that in a cricket crazy country like India, any sport should be    linked with cricket. Therefore, the team is named as Kerala ‘Blasters,’ after Master Blaster.

M S Dhoni-Chennaiyin:

Chennai Super Kings in IPL and Champion’s League T20 made Dhoni  the popular son of the city. Being a football lover, he was the goalkeeper in school days and he continues to play the game till date. Therefore, one needn’t be surprised if he sees Dhoni playing football with the Chennaiyin FC players in one of the practice sessions. This team has Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan as a co-owner too.
