Automobile Companies With Highest Recall Rates


Mitsubishi Motor Company: One of the biggest automobile companies that are based out of Japan, Mitsubishi has lately been having a lot of issues with their cars with regards to air bags, bad engines and fire risk prone vehicles.

They have a recall rate of 1.09; this comes in the wake of having recalled over 90 hundred thousand cars for light switch problems, and earlier this month announced the recalling of over 80 hundred thousand cars for defective engines and brakes.

This may not hit their market as badly as imagined but they will need to work harder to make sure these things don’t occur in the future.

Volkswagen: A car company that is loved and admired across continents is the Volkswagen which has the best of technology cars for every day commutes at the most reasonable prices. This car company in their American market had to recall more cars then they have sold thereby raising their recall rate to 1.06.

They have had a modest year with regards to recall this year though with the number not exceeding more than 200,000 cars. About 150 thousand Tiguan SUV’s had to be recalled as their manufacturing allows bubbles to form in winter fuel. This can be dangerous at times so they will be rectifying it before winter grips America.

Volvo: The Swedish based automobile company mainly deals with the manufacturing of heavy machines, trucks and Lorries. They also do have a small part in building comfortable cars which are one of the best when it comes to safety. This Car Company is said to have the least sales of cars in America, but have a somehow escaped the recall rate this year, though they have a total recall rate of 1.05.
