# Apple Introduced a ‘Draconian’ App Store with Rules (2008)

Apple was on the verge of becoming one of the top brands in the world and was gaining popularity and trust of the masses. At this point of time Apple introduced App store to its customers, but with very strict rules and laws pertaining to the display in the App store.

The introduction was innovative and app makers and developers were enthusiastic about it but getting the app approved by Apple was a tough.

Apple would approve any app, be it murky or hard- to-understand just to bring Apple into an arena of good ambience though it avoided and was a strictly no porn, no bikinis, no apps with bugs or apps that competence be confused with other apps.

Some developers had to wait for months to see their app getting approved by Apple and at the end it was showed a red sign due to some distorted reasons unexplained.
