TDI Ties Up With Snapdeal To Sell Flats Online

NEW DELHI: Realty firm TDI Infracorp said it has tied-up with online marketplace Snapdeal to sell flats in its township at Kundli, Haryana and would offer 1 percent discount to potential home buyers.

Initially, TDI will offer 60 flats on the Snapdeal platform in the 34-65 lakh price range. With e-commerce business rapidly growing in India, country’s largest realty firm DLF had tied up with Snapdeal last month.

Before that, Tata Housing had tied up with Google, Snapdeal, and Housing.com, while Puravankara had joined hands with Google and realty portal 99 acres.com. Godrej Properties, too, had tied up with Snapdeal to offer online booking of its projects.

“TDI Infracorp has entered into an exclusive partnership with Snapdeal to sell its property range in Kundli,” the company said in a statement. Under this partnership, TDI said it would sell 2-3 bedroom apartments on Snapdeal from its two group housing projects in its township ‘LakeGrove’ at Kundli.

TDI chief operating officer Nitesh Kumar said: “We are living in digital era and this is the most economical way to reach our potential consumer especially the youth. Youth are making an important role in buying the homes and they love to buy online.”

Snapdeal vice-president (Fashion, FMCG, Real Estate) Amit Maheshwari said: “After launching the real estate category on Snapdeal in August 2014, we have seen a lot of interest from the online customer base.” Delhi-based TDI Infracorp is developing large townships at Kundli, Panipat, Mohali and Moradabad.
