How These Emerging China Brands Going Global?

BANGALORE: The Chinese smartphones are already ruling the international markets, Alibaba is gaining the big name in E-com sector and if the reports from Bernstein Research and Interbrand are to be believed, Chinese restaurants may compete at top level in the international marketplace.

The Chinese food has its own specialty, firstly it’s cheap and secondly it’s delicious. Even though there is a shortage of global options for Chinese fast food all over the world. To fulfill such paucity, demand for restaurant brands like Kungfu Fast Food, Da Niang Dumpling, and GLL Wontons is arising.

The report further revealed, “The lack of a global Chinese restaurant brand is not for lack of a market: Chinese is among the most broadly appealing cuisines in the world (second only to Italian). Instead the challenge has been a logistical one, as Chinese food defies efforts to systematize the cooking process,” reports Yahoo.

Among the prevailing Chinese fast food chains, Da Niang Dumpling is the largest dumpling store chain in Mainland China. In 2014, the company was ranked no. 9 in China Daily's top 10 fast-food chains in China.

The Chinese smartphone industry is already attaining peaks as Xiaomi is achieving very fast sales, on the other hand, Lenovo and Huawei are emerging as the world-class brands and probably in the next few years they can top in the smartphone market.

In a speech in August 2014, President Xi Jinping quoted comments originally made by the revolutionary Deng Xiaoping, “We should have our own flagship products and establish our own world-renowned brands, or we will be bullied by others.”
