9 Famous Indians Who Found Success Despite Failures

BANGALORE: Life can be iniquitous sometimes. While some are lucky to enjoy success in their lives, some are destined to keep trying. For people belonging to the latter kind, endurance and determination play a key role in shaping their success. Their achievements in life, sooner or later, bank upon their “never give up” attitude. But as it is said, “fortune favors the brave.” Here is a list of 9 Famous Indians who failed at their first attempt at career success.

#1.Mahatma Gandhi

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, commonly known as Mahatma Gandhi, was the greatest leader of Indian nationalism in the British-ruled India. He considered himself an average man with average abilities. Gandhi's three years’ stay in England was a period of deep turmoil for him and  before that he knew little of the world. Gandhi returned to India as a Barrister, but knew nothing about the Indian law. He was shy and arguing in the Court frightened him. Though he was called the dejected 'Bridles Barrister', he never gave up. At the right time, a South African firm, Dada Abdulla and Co. asked for his assistance in a case. Gandhi eagerly agreed and sailed for South Africa in April 1893. Since then, Gandhi  achieved success in the profession of the law and politics.

A famous quote by Mahatma Gandhi, “It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there'll be any fruit. But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.”
