2. Arundhati Bhattacharya

Arundhati Bhattacharya is an Indian banker who was ranked 4th in the Fortune’s list. She is the first woman to be the Chairperson of State Bank of India. In 2014, she was listed as the 36th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes

Arundhati joined State Bank of India in 1977 as a probationary officer. She has held several positions during her 36-year career with the bank including working in foreign exchange, treasury, retail operations, human resources and investment banking.

3. Nishi Vasudeva

Nishi Vasudeva is the Chairperson and Managing Director of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), an Indian state-owned oil & gas corporation and India's fourth largest company by revenue. She was ranked 5th in the fortune’s list and is the first woman ever to head a Navratna PSU.

Nishi Vasudeva has started her career in the petroleum industry with Engineers India Ltd. Before taking over as the CMD, Vasudeva served as the Director of Marketing and Executive Director-Marketing Coordination. She has more than 34 years of experience in petroleum industry.
