He owns 38 percent of ArcelorMittal and a 33 percent stake in the Queens Park Rangers Football Club. In 2006, The Sunday Times named him "Business Person of 2006"and the Financial Times named him "Person of the Year". The Time magazine named him "International Newsmaker of the Year 2006" and in 2007, he was included in their "100 most influential persons in the world".

# Dilip Shanghvi

The Founder and the managing director of the Sun Pharmaceuticals, Dilip Shanghvi takes the third position on the list. His estimated worth is around $16.3 billion and his company is currently the largest and most valuable drugmaker in India. According to Wikipedia, he has also been named in the list of Asia’s top ten wealthiest self-made billionaires, according to Wealth-X. Dilip Shanghvi is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company and Shantilal Shanghvi Foundation.
