1. Shree Bose

Shree Bose, a 17 year old student with a passion for biology and medicine, Shree Bose was recently honored as both the winner grand prize and $50,000 for her research on the chemotherapy drug, cisplatin that is commonly taken by women with ovarian cancer, tackling the problem of cancer cells growing resistant to cisplatin over time.

As a reward for her remarkable work, she had the opportunity to tour CERN and travel to the Galapagos Islands.
