13 Best Internationalized Indian Companies


Bangalore: The Indian business sector is growing at a fast pace and this can be proved by the fact that Indian companies are now getting recognized among the best companies in the world.

Many Indian companies are expanding their business globally. The companies which have already established their footprints in other countries are today recognized as multinational giants.

Indian School of Business (ISB) along with Brazil's Fundacao Dom Cabral conducted a survey to find out the most internationalised Indian companies which was based on Transnationality Index (TNI). This index helps to measure the international exposure of a particular company.

Check below the best Indian companies that have made through the top list in terms of total assets overseas, total revenues and workforce abroad, as listed by Rediff.

1. ONGC Videsh

Previously ONGC was called as Hydrocarbons. In 1989, the government of India renamed it as Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

For some time now, ONGC Videsh has witnessed drastic growth and emerged as one of the biggest exploration and production (E&P) companies not just in India, but globally as well.

The company has successfully expanded its presence globally with acquisition of oil and gas assets and working on projects in almost 16 countries.
