B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber:
The most expensive plane ever built is the B2 Stealth Bomber manufactured by Northrop Grumman that cost the congress a whooping $737 million per plane.

There were a total of 21 planes that were built but now the number is reduced to 20 since the one of the bombers crash back in 2004.

These planes are built with stealth technology that is capable of penetrating any anti-aircraft defense systems. The Stealth Bomber can carry over eighty 500 lb JDAM GPS-guided bombs or sixteen 2,400 lb (1,100 kg) B83 nuclear bombs. In recent years, they have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. The overall cost of the project was worth $44.7 billion.
