According to The Wealth Report 2014–Knight Frank’s annual commentary on global prime property markets, wealth distribution and investment sentiment–India made its place on top 10 of the list of Countries home to super rich. "Millionaire numbers worldwide have gone up by 58 percent during this period, while multi-millionaire numbers have gone up by 71 percent," the report said. The U.S. tops the list of nations with the largest number multi-millionaires in the world with 41,05,000 millionaires currently living in it.

It remains the world’s most powerful nation; and since the World War II, the steadily growing economy, low unemployment, and rapid advances in technology have given the opportunities to achieve success at a rapid pace. The U.S. has since become a country holding the largest multi-millionaires in the world. A number of business magnates such as Bill Gates belong to this country.
