The maker of popular Indian snacks, Haldiram Snacks has several manufacturing units at multiple locations to support its retail operations across the globe. All consignments are packed and dispatched to various retail outlets from these manufacturing units. Haldiram used a manual process to manage the dispatch of these consignments, which leads to a sub-optimal efficiency. To improve its operational efficiency the company entered into a contract with Infogain Corporation who specializes in retail solutions to automate Haldiram's dispatch management process by using state-of-the art technologies. Through this partnership, Infogain brought its retail Business Process Management (BPM) expertise to streamline the business process, thereby enhancing their operational efficiency.
