Siva Sivani Institute of Management (SSIM), located in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh was established in 1992. Today, it is one of the largest AICTE approved Autonomous Business Schools in India with diversified and specialized full time management programs. PEDAGOGY

The pedagogy at SSIM is in tune with the latest practices in the world. There is a heavy emphasis on self learning and the strong team of highly experienced faculty plays the role of facilitators. A majority of the faculty members are with Industry Experience bringing their experience to the classroom. There would be a judicious mix of lectures, case studies, simulations, role plays, assignments, group work, live projects, specialization projects, etc. Students are exposed to international practices through an international study tour. Students are also trained in foreign languages such as Spanish, French and German. All the students are given ERP as part of the program.

To hone the soft skills of students, SSIM has many innovative and indigenously planned activities such as book review sessions, article review sessions, company review sessions, accent neutralization, presentations, group discussion sessions, panel discussions and many such activities. The institute also encourages students to organize various co-curricular, extracurricular activities, management meets, cultural meets, etc., in order to acquire the required experience; as a training ground to demonstrate their leadership capabilities and managerial qualities. Additionally, various clubs like Finance Club, Marketing Club, HR Club, etc., provide outlet to the creative talents of the students. The teaching fraternity at SSIM comprises of 56 Fulltime professionals with a blend of academic and industry experience.

ADMISSIONS

SSIM follows a rigorous admission procedure and conducts the selection process in all important centers in the country to select the best talent. Students with CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, JMET and ICET are eligible for admission. Due weightage is given for work experience and academic performance in admissions.

PLACEMENTS

Placements department at SSIM has a strong team of personnel and has been successful in achieving the consistent track record of 100 percent placements. As per the recent Business World – Synovate B-School survey 2010, SSIM is ranked 1st in Placements in Andhra Pradesh. SSIM has a tie-up with HDFC Bank for a Joint Certification programme leading to their placements. SSIM also has tie-ups with TMI and Global Talent Consultants for placements. SSIM is also an accredited campus associate of Deloitte.

TRAINING & CONSULTANCY

There is a full-fledged Training and Consultancy Division at SSIM which undertakes assignments in Training and Consultancy on vital issues in different sectors. SSIM has conducted more than 100 FDP and Training programmes for companies such as NTPC, Vizag Steel Plant, BHEL, ECIL, NFCL, Power Grid Corp., Indorama (Thailand), etc. We have also undertaken consultancy projects from TMC, ITC, Tupperware, Orient Cements, etc.

ELIGIBILITY & ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50 % marks in graduation
Qualified in MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/JMET/ICET
SELECTION PROCESS based on Aptitude Test (ICET/MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA), GD, Personal Interview, Academic Performance and Work Experience.
