Though the phone is not a flag ship, it is instilled with a Qualcomm 64-bit, 1.7-Ghz 2nd gen octa-core Snapdragon processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The octa core processor is bifurcated in two parts of four, one clocking at 1.7 GHZ and another at 1.1 GHz for power saving mode.

 The device is pretty efficient even under intense multi tasking and no glitches were observed when playing games with high graphics.

The Mi4i has an internal storage of 16 GB and apart from that no external storage can be embedded, as no memory card slot has been provided.
