What exactly does the Mi Band along with Mi Fit do?

Like all the other expensive fitness bands even, Mi Band tracks user’s footsteps, distance walked and approximate amount of calories burnt in a day. The sleep cycle also been tracked by the band, the sleep cycle of the user can be observed including the stages of sleep whether deep sleep or light sleep.

The other part is the band can track footsteps taken by the user, the app with same reading it will convert to approximate amount of calories burned in the process. But the band cannot keep track of calorie intake which is considered to the down side of calorie burn count.

The Mi Band can track sleep, heart-rate, steps count and notify incoming calls and messages but it doesn’t motivate the user to get up and work towards his fitness. However, it is a good fitness tracker with almost one month battery backup on single charge. Overall, it is a value for money at 999 with all the fitness essential trackers.
