With a reasonable price tag, the Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet is a gadget worth having. The 7-inch tablet has a screen resolution of 1,024 X 6000 pixels with an IPS LCD screen. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz dual-core TI Omap 4 processor. It has an internal memory of 16GB and it also has a slot for microSD card with expandable memory of up to 32GB.

The tablet boasts of up to 11.5 hours reading or 9 hours video. Along with the slate of books and magazines there are also many apps that are available in the Nook store. Though it has access to the Nook Store it has only limited access to the Android market. Like the Google Nexus this tablet also does not have a camera, which tends to be a big drawback in the minds of the consumer.
