Upcoming Laptops with Quad-Core Processor

Apple announced their refreshed Macbook Pro with quad-core processor and Retina Display at WWDC, 2012. The next-gen 15-inch Macbook Pro comes with the option of 2.3-GHz quad-core i7 or 2.6-GHz quad-core i7 processor and has a starting price tag of 1,60,000. Apple also upgraded the Macbook Air with Intel’s Core i5 chips, better battery life, webcam and USB ports.

Acer

Acer is coming up with two new laptops under its V3 series with Ivy Bridge processor. Both the laptop has similar features except the screen size – 14-inch and 15.6-inch model. Both the versions are engineered with 2.3GHz Core i7 quad-core chip, Nvidia GeForce GT 640M graphics and a 750GB HDD. Company has placed these laptops for the mainstream market by keeping an affordable price tag of around 38,000.
