The Canon EOS 6D features a newly designed 20 mega pixel full frame image sensor and powered with Digic 5+ image processor. It comes with 3 inch Clear View LCD display with 1.04 million dot pixel resolution. The company claims it as the lightest and most compact full frame DSLR ever, it weighs only 770 grams and has built with magnesium alloy with dust and drip resistant seals.

Along with new technology the camera also has new additional features such as built in Wi-Fi and GPS. The Wi-Fi capabilities allow transferring photos to laptop or PC or can directly upload to social networking sites and video can also be uploaded directly to YouTube as well. The GPS allow tagging photos for location data.
