Kim Jong-un (HTC): The youngest son of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, is speculated to have an HTC Butterfly after he was photographed with a smartphone at a national security meeting in January 2013. According to the South Korean media, Kim might be using his phone to speak to his family members and senior officials. Among the 25 million people in North Korea, only 2 million people use handsets; these users include officials and their families, wealth residents and businesspersons. Kim Jong-un is one among the 2 million who use a mobile phone.

Angela Merkel (BlackBerry): The German Chancellor, considered as one of the most powerful women in the world, is the user of two phones: BlackBerry Z10 that she uses for state affair and Nokia 6260 that she uses for party matters. Merkel’s phone became the most popular phone in the world politics because of the fact that the National Security Agency was monitoring all of her calls. Now she uses a Z10 specially designed to protect her communications.

8. Matteo Renzi (iPhone 5): The Prime Minister of Italy is not only an Apple iPhone user, but is also a very big fan of Apple products. When Steve Jobs died, Renzi wrote a tribute for him on his Facebook page saying that Jobs is “the Leonardo da Vinci of our time.”
