Microsoft Surface Tablet: 8 Things to Know

6. Ink Going Digital?

Writing on a tablet with a pen always sounds exciting.  Well Windows 8 Pro will support digital ink writing.  All you have to do is use the stylus and open a document and write whatever you want. Unlike the normal digital writing, even after zooming the writing looks super smooth. According to Microsoft, writing with the stylus on the Surface gives you the feeling of writing directly on a page and not on the screen.

The Surface uses two digitizers, one for touch and the other one for writing with the stylus. Once it detects the stylus, it shuts down the touch sensor thus preventing your hand from accidently wiping or swiping the screen. Once you are done there is a place at the side of the tablet where the stylus will stick on it magnetically.
