iPhone 7 Rumors: Release Date, Specifications, and Features

BENGALURU: After the iPhone 6 series striking the headlines, Apple has initiated the countdown to introduce its latest flagship. The most anticipated next generation iPhone, expected to be called the iPhone 7 is speculated to hit the market this September. Since Apple has still not given a clue about the iPhone 7's body we don't know exactly what it will look like. Multiple rumors suggest that the outer looks will be a modest update that continues to use a premium design similar to that of the iPhone 6s.

Rumors suggest that the company is planning to indulge its enthusiasts with the launch of 3 variants of the upcoming flagship namely the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and the iPhone 7 Pro/Plus Premium. Antenna bands across the back of the device have been gossiped to be removed, but are expected to remain either at the top, bottom, or the sides of the iPhone. The rumors about Smart Connector feature being included in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus are floating around the web for quite some time while some ambiguity also exists that Apple wouldn’t be including it in the new series.

Apple users are no unfamiliar to switch cables and accessories to adapt the new devices. For a few months now, rumors were plenty saying that Apple will kill the headphone jack on the iPhone 7 and opt for a wireless-only standard to make the phone slimmer.  Rumors of a Bluetooth or Lightning powered set of EarPods have also accompanied these leaks.
