iBall Releases Laptop CompBook Starting At 9,999

BENGALURU: Nowadays, owning a laptop in this tech-savvy world is very essential. The cherry on the cake is when a laptop can be bought within Rs 10,000. iBall, the consumer electronics company,  has come up with its new product, CompBook which is one of the cheapest laptop. The CompBook will be available in three variants. The first one, Excelance has an 11.6 inch model, priced at Rs 9,999. Next comes the Exemplaire, which is a 14 inch model priced at Rs 13,999. The business enterprise edition comes at a price of Rs 19,999.

The laptop is powered by 1.83GHz Intel quad-core processor along with a 2GB RAM. The device will have an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 64 GB with the help of microSD card. Along with a pre-installed Windows 10, the other connectivity features of CompBook is an HDMI port, two USB ports and a 3.5 mm headphone jack along with connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The laptops are an effort to bring new users into the fold of Windows 10 by offering them the latest and most powerful computing experience at a much more affordable price point.

It includes a 10,000mAh battery, and the company claims that will provide 8.5 hours of video playback and 22 hours of music. Along with a one year warranty, buyers will also get an insurance pack which will cover accidental damage, theft and breakage.
