Canon Launches Three Powerful Compact Cameras

PowerShot G15 – The Power to Capture Life

To ensure that photographers never miss that perfect shot, Canon has endowed the PowerShot G15, the successor to the PowerShot G12, with the fastest Auto-Focus (AF) performance in its class. Using the power of Canon’s DIGIC 5 imaging processor, a highly sensitive Canon CMOS image sensor, high ISO speeds of up to ISO 12800, and improved AF algorithms, the PowerShot G15 can focus on a subject in just 0.17 seconds, allowing it to capture the moment in stunning 12.1 megapixel clarity.

With the Dual Axis Electronic Leveling system, photographers can bring up a graphical indicator to help keep the shot level to prevent skewed photos. Perfect for landscape photos, this feature is also useful where the horizon is not visible due to low light or other reasons.

The speed and agility of the PowerShot G15 is reflected in its design, with a slimmer and more compact body. A new two-level dial system uses larger and more visible icons to help photographers quickly select the required mode, with the main controls all concentrated on the right side of the camera to facilitate single-handed operation.
