Kindle Paperwhite (e-book reader)

Amazon has even launched their upgraded version of its e-book reader. They have also finally introduced a lit display which means that now onwards the customers will not need to put the flashlight separately. They also have a patent for the front lit display. This is something similar to its competitors Nook and Kobo and its e reader; Simple Touch with GLowLight and Glo e-book.

The e-reader provides the user with 221 pixels per inch (1,024 x 768-pixel) which means that the text and graphics will be sharp and crisp.  The resolution has improved since the last edition which comes only with 167 pixels per inch.

The Kindle Paperwhite will be out on September 14, 2012 and will be available for 6,500  for Wi-Fi only version and 9,009 for 3G and Wi-Fi variant.

Amazon Chief Executive Jeff Bezos, at Santa Monica, California, said the company wants to make money when people use its devices, not when they initially buy them.
