Towards the end of 2010, Google launched another flagship Nexus Smartphone by collaborating with Samsung. The Nexus S was the last Google handset to come with capacitive navigation button and dropped microSD card slot. Google explained existence of microSD card slot or an option for expanding memory led the Android OS to lag, henceforth the microSD card slot was ditched from Nexus. This very phone featured the longest running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The phone was nothing fancy, it was a regular bar phone with rounded edges just like the other Samsung Smartphones in the near past.
