Xiaomi Redmi 2 Set To Receive A Price Cut In India Today


BENGALURU: Seeing the demand for its Smartphones, Chinese Smartphone maker, Xiaomi, has slashed the price of its recent release, Redmi 2. The 1000 slash came as a surprise and there has been more momentum building in the demand for Redmi 2, reports NDTV.

The phone costs 6,999 at the moment but starting Tuesday, the phone will only cost 5,999. "7th July 10am on mi.com/in. Put it down on your to-do list now." Xiaomi's Redmi  India account posted on social media.

Xiaomi has already announced the price cuts for Xiaomi Mi4 as well as Xiaomi Redmi Note, but, there is no official news about if the company may slash prices of its other products like Xiaomi Mi4i and Xiaomi Mi Pad.
