Xiaomi Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 Available Without Registrations


BENGALURU: The Chinese electronics company, headquartered in Beijing, launched two of its exceptional mobile phones recently– Xiaomi Mi 5 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, which is available without registrations in Mi.com, while the Redmi Note 3 will be available via Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Snapdeal–till stocks last!

The Xiaomi Mi 5 was launched in late-March, and costs Rs 24,999. The phone runs on Android Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top. The phone sports  dual-SIM slots and features a 5.15-inch full-HD with a special curved #D Ceramic glass for clear and enhanced visual experience, and the screen has a pixel density of 428ppi.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, paired and boosted by 3GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It sports a very effective and fulfilled optics– a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, PDAF (phase detection autofocus), OIS, sapphire glass protection, 4K video support, and LED flash. If this is not enough, then it even sports a 4-megapixel selfie camera, with f/2.0 aperture. The powerhouse of this phone is a 3000mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It has a decent 32GB built-in storage capacity.

On the other side, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 as launched in India in March, with additional and special Snapdragon 650 variant. The Redmi Note 3 is available in two RAM and storage versions - one including 2GB of RAMand 16GB of inbuilt storage, priced at 9,999 and other 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, priced at 11,999.

Like its chum Mi 5, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 runs on Android Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top of it. It supports dual 4G SIM cards, with one slot for Micro and one for Nano. The handset packs a 4050mAh battery with fast charging support. This enables it to charge up to 50 percent in just 1 hour. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and two-tone flash. It also sports a 5-megapixel front camera. Its dimensions are 150x76x8.65mm and weighs 164 grams.
