Which Of The High-End Smartphone Charges Faster?


BANGALORE: Fast-charging nowadays every high-end Smartphone boast of this feature and many of us are curious which is the best among them. Basing on the same query Tom’s guide carried out a series of test on some selective Smartphones, which of them charges fast and how much it charges in 15 min and 30 mins and how much time does it take for a full charge, reports NDTV.

The results declare Asus Zenfone 2 and Samsung Galaxy S6 as the winners. Where Zenfone 2, won on basis on getting the maximum charge in 15 min, on the other hand Galaxy S6 won because of attaining full charge in the least possible time than others.

Among the Smartphone tested were Asus ZenFone 2, Apple iPhone 6, OnePlus 2, Motorola Google Nexus 6, Motorola Droid Turbo, LG G4, and Samsung Galaxy S6

When charged for 5 minutes Zenfone 2 showed 17 pct of battery highest in this short time, Galaxy S6 is charged with 11 pct and iPhone 6 had the least with just 6pct.

After 30 minutes of charging the results were as follows: Zenfone 2 and Galaxy S6 at 53 pct of charge, next in line are Nexus 6 and LG G4 with 44 and 42 pct respectively followed by iPhone 6 and OnePlus 2 with 36 and 34 pct respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S6 was the fastest to reach the 80 pct charge mark within 48 minutes followed by Zenfone 2 in 56 minutes while for others it took over an hour.

The final 100 pct charge Samsung emerged winner in just 1 hr 22 minutes and Asus’s flagship dropped places to 5th by reaching its full charge in 1 hr 49 minutes.  Others in the list are LG G4 in 1hr 36 mins, Motorola Droid Turbo in 1 hr 47 mins, Google Nexus 6 in 1 hr 49 mins, OnePlus 2 in 2 hr 10 mins and the slowest of all iPhone 6 in 2 hr 35 mins.

Some of the phones hold an advantage with the chips they are set up on as:  Qualcomm's Quick Charge (LG G4), Motorola's Turbo Charge (Droid Turbo and Nexus 6), Boostmaster technology (ZenFone 2), and Samsung's own tech in Exynos chips.
