WhatsApp Web Support Finally Turned On for iPhone Users


BENGALURU: Recently, WhatsApp launched its web client for iPhone users as it was rolled out to Android users months ago, reports Tech2.

Scan the QR code in the WhatsApp website via mobile app and start using the service. WhatsApp recently introduced many new features like mute option, to mark conversation as read or unread, back up videos and so on for iPhone users.

Now WhatsApp web is available for Blackberry, Windows Phone, Nokia S40, Android, and iPhone.

Recently, WhatsApp for web was updated, which includes mobile-like features like chats and group conversations. In the browser version, you can edit your profile photo and status message. The settings option will now show overflow for chats, allowing users to delete and archive chats and the user can mute, and exit group chats.

WhatsApp posted in its blog, “Our web client is simply an extension of your phone: the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device this means all of your messages still live on your phone.”
