Toshiba Unveils Satellite P50, World's First 4 K Notebook in India


BANGALORE: Aiming to be among the top tech players in India, the Japanese tech giant Toshiba unveiled a range of devices in its laptop category by entering into newer segment, and one among them that caught the people’s attention is the unveiling of Toshiba’s world's first ultra HD 4K laptop, as reported by IndiaTV.

The Satellite P50 is catrogaried under the company’s P-series line of laptops and it will be the first of its kind device that will showcase 4K content –meaning 4 times the standard of a Full HD (1080p) screen. The world's first Ultra HD 4K laptop is powered by a 15.6-inch touch screen display, high-quality stereo speakers designed by Harman Kardon, fourth generation Intel Core H series processors, gaming-class AMD Radeon R9 M265X graphics and many other features. The other feature that standout in this device is the detachable 2-in-1 process that allow users to use the device as a notebook as well as a tablet by just detaching the keyboard.

Some of the other features that include in the P50 is 1TB HDD, 8GB RAM which is expandable up to 16GB, touch-enabled, HDD protection sensor, aluminium chassis, Harman Kardon speakers, backlit keyboard, USB-sleep and charge support, as well as fourth-generation 2.5GHz Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost Technology. The device also comes with Windows 8.1.operating system.
