Spectre 13 Soon in India - Will it Only Stir or Will it Shake?

BENGALURU: When HP set out to create the Spectre 13, they wanted to give the world something like never before. Simple but powerful, daunting but elegant, the Spectre 13 is as HP envisioned, a laptop like no other. A beauty in the making, not just in looks but also in operation – The spectre 13 is soon to hit the Indian market and retailers and techno geeks alike are expecting HP to launch it on their next public event which is scheduled on the 21st of this month.

At 10.4mm, Spectre 13 is now the thinnest laptop in production, the title which it took ever so gracefully from Apple’s Macbook air.  The laptop’s finish is a mixture of carbon fiber and aluminium; and it has the new, fancy ‘hp’ logo engraved on it (which incidentally is the design HP is planning to add to all its premier offerings henceforth) – ticking all the right boxes in the style quotient. And if you thought it was all about the looks, then you thought wrong. The laptop comes with the 6th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and 256GB SSD storage. It has a standard 8GB RAM which, along with the Intel Turbo boost technology, makes for swift operations.

It’s Intel HD Graphics 520, which is expandable up to 4.09GB, renders a surreal experience whilst working with any kind of animation. The 13.3” full HD display comes with a 0.4mm Corning Gorilla Glass layer protection.  It also has a full-size island-style backlit keyboard and runs on Windows 10 Home 64 OS. Although there has been no official statement from HP regarding the price, it is speculated that it could cost anywhere between 70,000 and a lakh.

While many are eagerly waiting to lay their hands on it, it is yet to be seen if the launch actually takes place on the 21st.
