Sony to Launch First 4K Display Smartphone at IFA 2015




BANGALORE: Earlier this week, there were three Sony Smartphones surfaced the internet and it is speculated that the company will launch the new set of flagship handset on September 2 launch event. The phones are Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xepria Z5 Premium, these three handsets will be launched in the IFA 2015 event held in Berlin, reports NDTV.

The firm published a video regarding the Xperia Z5 models, in the video, Marketing Director of Sony Mobile France, briefly explains the new Smartphone.

The French website Clubic shared the video and soon it was taken down where the Sony's executive talks about the new handsets that are set to launch officially. However the video confirmed the launch of three new devices namely Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xepria Z5 Premium models in the IFA event.

The Xperia Z5 Premium a Phablet that will be the first handset to feature a 4K UHD display and will have 5.5-inch screen. The flagship Smartphone Xperia Z5 is to sport a 5.2-inch FHD display.

All the speculated Sony Xperia Z5 models are said to sport 23MP rear cameras. A video was posted on GSM Arena revealed that new flagship models will feature 'fast autofocus' with focus time of just 0.03 seconds. The executive also claimed that the handsets will come with better low light performance than its predecessors.

Like every other manufacturers Sony will also introduce fingerprint sensor at a different place that is on the right side panel replacing the wake up button. The signature feature of Sony flagship Smartphones, the waterproof will also be featured in the new Xperia Z5 models.
