Samsung Phablet Expected to be Launched On August 2


BENGALURU: Samsung is all set to present its most anticipated phablet— Galaxy Note 7, in the month of August. Phablet Note 7 is expected to unveil itself with a unique style and plenty of features. There is hardly few days left for the launch, before that let’s have a look at the key features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

Display

Much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be launched with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display of 1440x2560 pixel resolution screen. It also includes additional features like Always-on-Display that shows date, time and notification without unlocking the phone.

Lock and Unlock

The latest Galaxy Note offers an iris scanner that will ease the unlocking option. All you have to do is gaze for few seconds at the screen and it unlocks the phone.  As per the speculated report, phablet also includes Samsung's TouchWiz UI layer, dubbed Grace UX.

Storage

It is rumored that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 provides 64GB of in-built storage along with 256GB variant of the device. The truth will be unfolded only after the product is launched.

Battery

Galaxy Note 7 is probable to be powered by recently introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM.

Camera

Camera quality is said to be 12MPdual-pixel rear camera and 5MP front camera withfront-facing snapper.

Other Features

The upcoming Samsung’s phablet is speculated to come in three different colors, namely, Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral. It includes connectivity options like USB Type C charging connectivity. The handset comes with a high speed charging adapter. From Samsung’s previous release it is evident that Samsung will include IP68 dust and water-resistance to the Galaxy Note 7.

Moreover, Note 7 might be priced higher than the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. With its trendy stylus and a latest pen-like locking mechanism as in the Note 5, Samsung Galaxy is all set to disrupt the market on August 2. Samsung might keep its 'Glass and metal' design philosophy for the Note 7 as well.
