Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 Priced 9,750 INR


BENGALURU: Recently, Samsung launched its new model of Galaxy J2 priced approximately at 9,750 INR along with the Galaxy J Max tablet in India. Starting from July 10, J2 are available to buy via online and at direct retail stores.

The smartphone comes in three color variants: Gold, Silver and Black. Samsung is offering free double data for 6 months worth 4,500 INR to Airtel prepaid customers, as a promotional offer.

The phone is equipped with quad core 1.3 GHz processor with a 4.7 inch display. It has 1 GB RAM with 8 GB internal memory and extendable up to 128 GB using external micro SD card. It supports 4G LTE network and has dual SIM phone option. The smartphone weighs 130 gram and has sensors such as proximity sensor and accelerometer.

The phone has a new highlight which Samsung calls Smart Glow, the next-generation LED notification system. This feature admits users to color-code any contact, phone usage alert, and application. Users can activate Smart Glow feature from the Quick panel. Usage of Smart Glow can be used for Selfie Assist, Priority alerts, and Usage alerts.

The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It sports an 8-megapixel back camera with LED flash and comes with 5-megapixel front camera. It measures 142.4x71.1x8mm in dimension. The company claims that the Galaxy J2 supports download speeds of up to 150Mbps and 50 Mbps for upload speeds. The phone is backed up and powered by a 2600mAh battery.
