Panasonic Revealed New 3D Home Theater Projector

Bangalore: Panasonic launched PT-AE7000, the world’s first 3D projector which uses transparent LCD panels driven at 480Hz. PT-AE7000 is also the first full HD 3D home theater projector with 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixel) resolution.

PT-AE7000 sports newly-developed optical engine, which produces an incredible 300,000:1 contrast ratio and 2,000 lumens of brightness to give natural clarity and sharpness to details results in more natural, life-like expression. PT-AE7000 gives both 2D and 3D experience at home and also has five 3D effect modes which provide 2D to 3D image conversion facility. The built-in 3D transmitter and frame sequential technology used in the device for 3D image projection provided larger screen 3D experience with optional eyewear. Moreover PT-AE7000 is an eco-friendly product which has intelligent power management system to reduce the lamp power to the exact required level of brightness depending on the content being displayed.

Along with PT-AE7000, Panasonic also launched an LCD home theater projector called PT-AR100 which doesn’t have 3D capability. Panasonic PT-AE7000 comes with two years warranty and a price tag of 2,50,000, while the AR100 costs 1,60,000 with the same two year warranty.
