Oppo Listed Dubbed Neo 7 on its Website


BANGALORE: The Chinese electronics manufactures Oppo has surprised its customers by adding a new gadget on its official website. The new device is named as Oppo dubbed Neo 7. Although the website gives away a lot of information about the new phone it doesn’t contain a word on pricing and availability of this new smartphone,reports NDTV Gadgets. 

The website has listed an Indian version of the device, which makes sure that the device will be available in India too. The device will support for 4G in India. It features Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company's custom ColorOS 2.1 skin on top; the Oppo Neo 7 features a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) TFT display. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with Adreno 306 and 1GB of RAM. The handset will come with 16GB inbuilt storage and will support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB).

The Neo 7 features an 8MP rear and a 5MP front-facing camera. It will support dual SIMs and come dipped in white and black colors. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB, 3G and GPS. It weighs 141 grams and measures 142.7 x 71.7 x 7.55 mm.

The company has recently announced the Oppo R7s, which will be the company’s first smartphone with 4GB of RAM. Some of its features include Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC; 5.5-inch full HD Amoled display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the handset comes with hybrid SIM slot that supports a Micro-SIM and a Nano-SIM card, 32GB storage expandable up to 128GB, 13MP rear camera and a 3,070mAh battery.
