OnePlus One Eyes Indian Smartphone Market


BANGALORE: After the release of Xiaomi, another Chinese manufacturer ‘OnePlus’ is marching towards the Indian smartphone market. The OnePlus is all set to introduce its CyanogenMod phones to the Indian market.

Apparently, the company will get its flagship model ‘One’ in India which boasts better specs than Xiaomi’s Mi3. The One features a Qualcomm snapdragon 801 quad core processor clocking a speed of 2.5GHz with a 3GB of RAM and runs on the Custom version of CyanogenMod 11S. The smartphone is based on the Android version 4.4.2 Kitkat, with lot of customization options. The phone has a 5.5-inch touch screen display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.

On the camera front, it offers a 13mega pixel snapper on the rear and a 5 mega pixel on the front side. The One comes without an  expandable memory card slot and has an inbuilt memory of 16 or 64 GB. The phone is powered by 3100 mAh battery and the connectivity features include Bluetooth version 4.1, USB and NFC.

At present, China is the biggest market for OnePlus, which announced its foray into India today with the launch of its 'One' smartphone at Rs 21,999.

According to Vikas Agarwal, OnePlus India General Manager, “In the next few months, we expect India to be our biggest market, it will overtake China,” reports PTI.

This phone from the Chinese start up has everything from the stunning screen to a power packed hardware.
