BANGALORE: OnePlus will launch the successor of OnePlus One on July 27 at 7 Pacific Time that will be around 7:30am in India. However, the firm will also celebrate a special event in New Delhi on behalf of the launch, reports IE.

Not many Indian audiences are invited to the OnePlus New Delhi event. Although, consumers can get a glimpse of whole event by downloading the OnePlus VR app from Google Play store.

Along with the VR app, OnePlus fans should possess the OnePlus Cardboard or the Google Cardboard to experience the event in virtual reality through the app. Right now, the OnePlus Cardboard is out of stock on Amazon, but fans can opt for other cardboard VR headsets that are available in the market.

For the followers those don’t have a VR headset, they are not left out of the celebration as the OnePlus forum quotes, “But if you simply find yourself Cardboard-less on July 27th, don’t despair! We’ve also built a Cardboard-free 360 experience, right into our launch app. It won’t be as immersive, but it will still be interactive and amazing.” Hence this statement ensures the followers to watch the OnePlus launch without the VR headset.

Once again the tradition of invite based purchase continues as the customers should posses an invite to buy the new OnePlus 2.
