Nokia Lumia 830: The Best Phone For Photography Freaks?


BENGALURU: Though the Android phones have made their impact better on the markets, the Windows phones have their own set of fanfare and buyers. The Windows phones has  had its subsequent changes and developments according to the growing trends on the smartphones, and subsiquent have had their additions and improvements on them . So here is the new Nokia 830 known as the affordable flagship phone. # Design

The Lumia 830 sports a rectangular design with an aluminium rim tapering along the sides of the phone. The device comes with a removable back cover which allows you to remove the battery, the SIM and the SD card. The 5-inches display on it is protected by a corning glass 3 and it also measures about 8.5mm thick and weighs 150 grams which might be kind of heavy for some users.  

# Features and Storage memory

The Lumia 830 runs on a Snapdragon 400 SoC with a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and an Adreno 305 graphics processor that is backed by 1GB of RAM.

It comes with 16GB of storage space, of which 11GB is available for use. The phone comes with lots of pre-installed apps, but you can delete or transfer all of them on to an external SD card. The Lumia 830 supports cards up to 128GB.

# Camera

Microsoft has included some good features on the 10 MP camera. The main camera app comes with useful manual controls for changing the aspect ratio, ISO levels, shutter speed, exposure white balance, and many more. It also has photo apps such as Nokia Cinemagraph letting you animate certain sections of your photo, Nokia Refocus and Creative Studio for adding filters. So, if you like to play around with the camera, then the Lumia 830 has all the stuff you need.

So if you are a windows phone user already and looking for an upgrade, then this would be worthy buy. On the other hand, if you are not there are lot more phones to consider like its rivals Nexus 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S4 in its range that come with lot more functionality.
