With two devices on different platforms, here’s a breakdown on the best features that each device has to offer, compiled by Business Standard.

Design

At a first glance, Lumia 820 looks similar to its elder sibling Lumia 920. But to install the microSIM, the interchangeable shells and battery needs to be taken off, as Lumia 820 is not a uni-body Smartphone. The shells are certainly appealing with its funky and bright-colored looks.
Meanwhile, Sony Xperia ZL, the non-amphibious cousin of Xperia Z looks quite a bit similar to the latter, except for its front camera and wider ear piece grille. The design and finish of ZL is lot more impressive than its cousin in terms of ease of use and look wise, it is prettier with a plastic body and is a bit curvy but isn’t water-proof or dust-proof.
