Nokia Lumia 800 'Battery Fix' Update Rolling Out

Bangalore: Nokia has started rolling out its update to fix the software bug in Nokia Lumia 800 which was reported in December, soon after its launch. This bug was hindering the performance of the device as it prevents the phone’s ability to access full battery capacity.

According to Nokia “the software on the Lumia 800 handsets will be updated to version 1600.2483.8106.11500 and it will offer two key features; an improved battery performance and an enhancement for Wi-fi connectivity. This updating will take place in two phases covering two weeks. Half of the handsets will get the update in first week and the second half in the next week”.

Your Nokia Lumia smartphone will automatically check for updates from time to time, and you’ll get a message on the phone when it is ready through Microsoft Zune software on a Windows system  or a Windows Phone 7 Connector on a Mac, says Nokia Blog spot.
