New Nexus 5X and 6P to Launch Much Before the iPhones in India




BANGALORE: The search giant Google has made its move towards Indian market before the Apple could with their new Nexus devices. Google will start to roll out Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X in India between 10th and 14th of this month. As Apple had scheduled to market their latest flagship devices from October 16th, reports NDTV.

According to IANS reports, the latest Nexus Smartphones - Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5X will be available in Indian market from October 13th.

The pricing of Nexus devices was listed on Google Store India soon after their official launch. The Nexus 6P was listed with a price tag of 39,999 for the 32GB internal storage variant, and 42,999 for the 64GB variant, while the Nexus 5X will cost lesser and it stars from 31,900.

This move could have been the result of PM Modi’s two-day visit to Silicon Valley and the newly elected Indian-born Google CEO, Sundar Pichai. Either way, it is beneficial for Google as well as Nexus consumers.

Pichai had voiced his Google team to support the initiatives like Digital India and Skill India prior to meeting with PM Modi.

The new Nexus devices will come with fingerprint sensor and it will run on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Also it carries the one of the top cameras in the Smartphone business, along with Type-C USB port for faster data transfer.
