Motorola To Make The Rumored 'X Phone' - Moto X

Bangalore: Motorola, who is garnering a lukewarm reception, has off late ceded its market share to Apple and Samsung Electronics. However, as reported by Reuters, the company is apparently making a new flagship Android device, Moto X which will be built at a 500,000 square-feet facility previously owned by Nokia in Texas by August.  

The upcoming Smartphone will be debuted in a market dominated by iPhone and Samsung’s galaxy range of devices. Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside mentioned at AllThingsD conference that the handset will be broadly distributed across numerous carriers, which is rare in the case of Motorola Smartphones.

He added that he’ll save the details on the phone for later but in terms of processors, the device will have two processors.

Moto X is expected to arrive in October. With the new Smartphone, Motorola mentioned a shift towards stock Android.
