Motorola Moto 360 Sport launches in India with Additional Features


BENGALURU: With the market flourishing with new device releases every single day, Motorola has launched a sequel model to its last year December release Moto 360 (Gen2), the Moto 360 sport. It is designed especially for the sport and fitness lovers with a debut price of 19,999 in India.

Moto 360 Sport is powered up with Android and has a battery life of 300mAh up that can make the device last for a full day. An unique new feature introduced with the device is the ‘ambient screen setting’ that can save a lot of power for the phone, the good about the screen setting is that it can get turned off by default.  It comes with 3 colors variant Black, White and Flame Orange outside, but that is for outside India market, in pan Indian market it is currently available in only 2 shades; Black and White. The wearable device is currently available only in e-commerce sites such as Flipkart.

This Sport model is comparatively cheaper to the Moto 360 (Gen 2) and features Silicon band metal case holding, Android Smartphones and1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 APQ8026 Quad Core Processor paired with an Adreno 305 GPU. Additionally, it is inherited with other key characteristics such as Heart Rate Sensor, Coaching Advice, Calories Burnt, Built-in GPS Tracker, and iOS compatible. It has 512MB RAM and 4GB Internal memory storage. The 1.37 inch device has an Optical hear-rate monitor (PPG) and IP67 standard protection from dust with water resistancy.

You may also like it as it has voice control, Google play to access additional apps and is also featured with music connection via Bluetooth headphones. While the hardware specifications are similar to that of the standard 360 (Gen 2) model as both the standard and the Sport model comes a with Gorilla Glass 3 shield for the display. Additionally, the Moto 360 Sport boasts a special UV coating as well.
