Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus Attracts Gadget Enthusiasts with Front Fingerprint Sensor


BENGALURU: Smartphones have manoeuvred the whole globe; dependency of humans towards smart devices is growing every second. Following the release of Moto G third-generation smartphone in the global market, the company plans to launch Motorola Moto G4/Moto G4 Plus. Yang Yuanqing, CEO, Lenovo commented that Motorola will announce the release of new smartphone on June 9 this year.

With so many rumors going on in the ‘world of internet’ about the upcoming Moto G4 and its Powerful variant model, both will be featuring fingerprint sensor on the ‘front’ display in place of the Home button which may be a differentiating factor when compared to other smartphones in the market which have sensor at the back of the smartphone.

The upcoming Moto G4 will have 5.0 inch display, 13MP camera, 16GB of internal memory which can be accessed with a speed of 2GB of RAM, a battery of 2650 mAh and with screen display resolution of 1024 X 768 pixels. The two variants of 4th generation Moto G will be powered with Qualcomm’s flagship processors, one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SOC clocked up to 1.2 GHz Octa-core that is 8x powerful than ARM Cortex A53, and the other variant embedding Snapdragon 650 SOC  which is a blend of 2 Cortex A72 1.7 GHz and 4 Cortex A53 1.2 GHz processors. The Moto G4 Plus model will also have an improved camera with 16MP and internal storage memory of 16 GB, screen size of 5.5 inch and resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels with 3GB of RAM and a 3000 mAh battery to keep it long-lasting.

Both the smartphones will have Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Moto G4 and MotoG4 Plus are expected to be the first Motorola devices that will be embossed with Lenovo branding and will be priced between Rs 18000 to Rs 22000.
