Microsoft's Own Branded Phone, Lumia 535 Arrives


BENGALURU: Microsoft launches its first Smartphone, Lumia 535 which will be called the Microsoft Lumia 535 now. The phone will be up for sale by November and it will first be available in countries like China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh and soon other countries too, reports NDTV Gadgets.

The Lumia 535 runs on the Windows Phone 8.1 with the latest Denim update and comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a 540x960 pixel resolution which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor clocking a speed of 1.2GHz with a 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage memory which can be expandable up to 128 GB with a micro SD card. The camera is the best part about the phone, it gets a 5- mega pixel front facing snapper which is the same as the Lumia 730 and comes with same 5 mega pixel on the rear with a flash.

However like the other Lumia phones, the Lumia 535 will be available in Cyan, Bright Green, Bright Orange, White, Dark Grey, and Black colours. The Phone is available in single sim and dual sim versions.

Announcing the news via the Lumia Conversations blog, Microsoft said, "Today sees the launch of the new Microsoft Lumia 535, our "5x5x5" smartphone package bringing a 5-inch screen, 5-megapixel front- and rear-facing camera, and free integrated Microsoft experiences to more people at an affordable price."
