Microsoft To Roll Out Bug Fix For Lumia 535 Touchscreen

BENGALURU: Microsoft has confirmed that it will roll out a bug fix for its newly launched Lumia 535 in order restore the faith of its loyal users. Furthermore, the first round of firmware update will be rolled out as an OTA update, as per the Microsoft support email, reports NDTV gadgets.

Apparently, the update will be out to the Vietnamese users starting December 27. However  the details of the OTA rollout in other regions are unknown. The email mentions that users can check for updates on their Lumia 535 smart phones. It also adds that the upcoming firmware update will 'completely' solve the touchscreen issues on the phone. "This update will completely improved touch functionality on two SIM phone Lumia 535 and gives a better user experience for users of this phone line," states the translated email.

The best part is that to recall the issue on the phone, a video was released by Winphone Vietnam showing the Microsoft Lumia 535 struggling with a touchscreen sensitivity issue and inconsistent tracking of touch input. It was suggested by Microsoft that until the firm rolls out an update, users can switch off the Screen Magnifier feature on the phone to avoid the issue to some point.
