Microsoft To Introduce Selfie Phone On Sep 4


BANGALORE: The Redmond software giant, Microsoft is all set to launch its dedicated selfie phone on 4th of September this year. The company sent out invites for the event to the press for the launch of its selfie phone which could be possibly named as “Nokia 730”, reports IBN live.

Apparently, Stephen Elop, the former CEO of Nokia who now heads the Microsoft’s device unit, showed the Microsoft’s selfie phone at an internal annual meeting in the company and the phone features a front facing 5 mega pixel camera, which is supposed to be much more powerful than an iPhone’s front facing one at 1.2 mega pixel.

According to the Zee news, the phone will be packed with a 4.7 inch display with a dual sim support on it. On the hardware front, it sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with a 1GB of RAM. It also might feature a 6.7 mega pixel rear camera and run on the latest version of the Windows 8.1 operating system.
