Micromax launches Canvas 6 Pro in India


BENGALURU: Micromax has launched the Canvas 6 Pro Smartphone in the Indian market and is up for pre-booking on the e-store. Priced at 13, 999, the company is all set to start shipping by April 20 bringing together a plethora of trendy features a user looks for in a device with an affordable price tag, reports Tech 2.

The Canvas 6 Pro comes with a 5.5-inch full HD screen boasting a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and runs on the Android version 5.1 Lollipop. On the specifications front, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2 GHz and a 4GB of RAM. Pictures can be clicked with the 13 mega pixel rear camera showing off Autofocus and phase detection capabilities, while the front facing shooter for selfies is 5 mega pixels.

Storage can be done on a 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB with a microSD card. The Smartphone is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery with a talk time of about 9 hours on 3G network according to GSM arena.

As far as the connectivity features are concerned, the Canvas 6 Pro gets 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth. On the other hand, this new Smartphone gets a new personal assistant “Around” just like Siri on the iPhones, making it simpler for the users to search and access the features better.

Micromax also announced a new logo and branding at an event last week. A total of 19 products were unveiled out of which 15 were Smartphones on the list and Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro were the only phones launched in India.
